Barrett's was started in 1935 by Stanley Barrett in a small store on Main Street in Salina, UT. The business moved two more times until Stan and Keith Barrett (Stan's Son) built our current State St. location in 1968. Keith's son-in-law, Jim Erdei, joined the business in 1973. In 2001, Jim's son, Chandler Erdei, became the fourth generation to operate the business. David Jensen joined the Barrett's team in 1982 and has become an invaluable member of the family business ever since.
We are very customer focused. We focus on our fresh departments and maintain a competitive pricing strategy throughout the store. We are the Hometown Grocer and as such, we are very involved with our community. The money spent here, stays here. We sponsor local athletes, students, community improvents and volunteer clubs. We sponsor two large scholarships to help our local students advance to college. We are the only grocery store in town and we are committed to give back to our community.
If you are looking to do more with less, we invite you to come in and see how we can help you do just that.
